On Monday evening, February 13, Arizona Glass Alliance will host a presentation by Suzanne Perrault, who, together with her husband, David Rago, is one of four partners in the well known auction house, Rago/Wright Auctions.
Originally from Quebec, Suzanne received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from McGill University and began her career as a fashion model in Montreal and Japan before turning to the world of art. At Rago/Wright Suzanne directs the thrice-yearly sales of modern glass, an area in which Rago/Wright is an international player. Suzanne also lectures nationally on glass, decorative ceramics and porcelain, and is a long standing expert appraiser on the hit PBS series, Antiques Roadshow.
Suzanne will be giving us all the “inside scoop” on how to deal with an auction house as well as other options for both buying and selling all types of art on the secondary market. She will also be touching on the subject of art valuations, and I’m sure she’ll be sharing some interesting Antiques Roadshow “war stories”. You will find Suzanne to be interesting, very knowledgeable and charming, so you won’t want to miss this special evening to get to know her and the secondary art market.
