On Monday evening, October 14, Arizona Glass Alliance will host our first artist presentation of the 2019-20 season when Mark Leputa will discuss his work and career. Mark creates beautiful clean, crisp blown work, which utilizes both color, shape, texture, and optics to achieve the final result. Mark’s work is blown in stages and layers then carved to reveal tapestries of color and optical effects. He has been recognized as one of the young, emerging artists on the scene today. Mark’s work has been shown in galleries here in the United States and in Europe as well as at the international art show SOFA. Locally he is represented by Kuivato Gallery in Sedona, Arizona.
