On Sunday, January 15, Arizona Glass Alliance will be conducting a very special event when we will tour the homes and private glass art collections of four of our member couples, Judy & Stu Heller, Linda & Sherm Saperstein, Sharon & Fred Schomer and Gail & Dan Tenn, who have very graciously agreed to open their homes for our members (and we thank them very much). We haven’t done one of these events for a number of years and it’s a great way to see a lot of outstanding glass art. For newer members it’s terrific, and even for “old timers” there are new works in all of these collections (and in addition the Tenn’s are in a new, beautiful home).
The day will begin at 12:30 and end at 5:00, so plan on eating Sunday brunch beforehand. You’ll be assigned to groups and given specific time slots at each home so that we avoid overcrowding and give everyone a chance to enjoy these wonderful collections. Addresses and driving directions will also be provided. This event is open to paid members of Arizona Glass Alliance.
