December 7, 2015 7:30 PM Stonegate Clubhouse 11551 E. Mountain Rd. Scottsdale, AZ

Arizona Glass Alliance is very proudly hosting a presentation by the well known glass sculptor, Latchezar Boyadjiev.

Latchezar is known for his beautiful, sensuous cast glass sculptures, often of abstracted torso forms, with very rich, deep colors. Born and initially educated in Bulgaria, Latchezar went on to study with the famous Czech master, Libensky, and came here to the United States in 1986, where he has been creating wonderful sculpture ever since.

Latchezar’s work has been exhibited in forty four solo exhibitions and fifty one group exhibitions by major galleries and museums around the US. His work is represented in the DeYoung museum in San Francisco, the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, and our own Scottsdale Center for the Arts, as well as the permanent collection of the White House. Currently you will find his work for sale at both the Schantz and Holsten galleries. An image of one of the pieces that Latchezar intends to bring with him on December 7 is shown below, and to see more of Latchezar’s work visit his website, www.latchezarboyadjiev.com.

The presentation will be held at our traditional location, the Stonegate clubhouse, beginning at 7:30 PM. Stonegate is located at 11551 E. Mountain View Road in Scottsdale. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to get to know one of the leading cast glass sculptors working today, so get your reservation in early.
