Oct 12-16 2011 - Fall trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina
This educational tour has been developed to highlight the best contemporary glass artists, working in the Blue Ridge region of South Eastern America. Visits are planned to the studios of former teachers and students of the Penland School of Craft, many who have worked glass since the 1970’s. Asheville has been voted one of the best art cities in the country !
Our travel excursion takes in the premier historic site of The Biltmore Estate, its park-like gardens & grounds, mansion and mountain views. Our hotel reservations are booked inside the park at the award-winning Inn on the Biltmore Estate Hotel. Here we can experience their elegant accommodations, many offerings around the estate such as the winery, many exclusive shops, walking trails, fine dining options and spa services .
